Whenever the wind blows

Whenever the wind blows

I hear a certain melody
in the gentle rustling of leaves
In the twittering of robins
are just delightful songs of life

Wildflowers swaying and dancing
bowing in such graceful curtsy
while blades of grass all bending low
wave after wave salute the wind

Trees their boughs and limbs uplifted
in due time join the chorus line
Beautiful music surrounds me
in truth whenever the wind blows
