Luz and I

I know her from a while ago
she first gave me a smile
it was just a meeting of two souls
souls seeking enlightenment
to a life filled with questions
She sat with me for days
we spoke and opened up ourselves
to pain and to what life offers
offering each other comfort
without question or doubts
She was there, a friend
in a place full of strangers
baring her soul to my very own
owning to our fears we are
one in spirit, Luz and I
