Grass Woes

Monday, July 23rd, 2007

Grass Woessun caressed grass grows
blades greened by rain in silence
roots stretch for room in absence
chained to tidy rows

brave the heat mutely
scorched brown in still defiance
relieved by an appliance
sprinkling astutely
