Tender looks of love
drive sadness away
Light feeling of happiness
makes everything okay

Golden strands of life
lift beauty to the utmost
Without a glimpse of love
all in this life is lost

arms spread out graciously
like an eagle’s wings in flight.
In Love’s hands were mercy and grace
abundant and free for the asking.
Garbed in a robe of compassion
Love made us look inside our souls.
Touching us like nothing could
Love shone, a light to the world.
Love’s spirit flew, freely it soared
reaching out to hardened hearts.
And so Love came… for us.
